MISSION STATEMENT

WELCOME to PEACE - Education and Awareness for Everyone in 2010

Parents Educating Arkansas about Children with Epilepsy (PEACE) is a free support group for parents and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

OUR MISSION

…is to coordinate education and reach out to the people of Arkansas about children who have epilepsy and other forms of seizure disorders.

OUR GOAL

…is to supply resources and provide support necessary to bring peace and comfort to parents who are dealing with the daily reality of seeing their child grow up with epilepsy.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

…is to change the reality that is epilepsy today and help children and families overcome the stigma attached by bringing resources and support to Arkansans.

OUR MOTTO

…working together to bring PEACE to Arkansas communities.

NEW CHAPTER!!!

PEACE has started a new chapter in Northwest Arkansas. This new branch has been created to support anyone in Northwest Arkansas dealing with epilepsy, with the same mission and goals. Check the CONTACTS and EVENTS tab for more information.
